Christopher P. Dyson
Christopher Dyson graduated from the University of Victoria Law School
in 1997 and was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 1998. Prior
to establishing himself as a lawyer, Chris obtained an undergraduate
degree in Economics and worked as a Policy Analyst studying Aboriginal
Issues for the British Columbia Ministry of Environment, Lands and Parks.
Chris was a Senator at the University of Victoria and during that time,
heard appeals while a member of the University Appeals Committee.
Chris articled with a firm on Vancouver Island and practiced in the areas
of personal injury and family law, in addition to conducting criminal prosecutions
for the Federal Crown.
Since 2000, Chris has continued his litigation practice in the Lower
Mainland with Yearwood & Company. Chris' practice concentrates on personal
injury, ICBC claims and commercial disputes. Chris also has developed an
excellent
reputation working on WCB appeals. Chris has made numerous successful submissions
to the WCB Review Division, Workers' Compensation Appeal Tribunal (WCAT),
Appeals Division and the former WCB Review Board. Chris has experience
working on behalf of both workers and employers with respect to WCB compensation
disputes and occupational health and safety issues.
