Yearwood & Company is a firm of barristers and solicitors that was established
in the North Surrey/Port Kells area in 1998 by Patrick Yearwood. We do primarily
courtroom work, with the bulk of our practice in the areas of personal injury
litigation and WCB litigation. We act solely for plaintiffs in personal
injury actions. We also handle many other areas of legal practice, including
family law, wills and estates, leasing, and business sales.
Our experienced trial and appellate counsel regularly appear at all levels
of court in British Columbia and Alberta, including the Federal Court of
Canada, and many administrative tribunals. Patrick
Yearwood has been practicing law for over 25 years and has extensive
trial experience and expertise in handling all manners of disputes and claims.
Chris Dyson has been with the firm since
its inception and has a busy personal injury and WCB claims practice, as
well as doing a fair amount of family law matters and general corporate
and commercial litigation.
Tarel Swansky articled with the firm,
and was recently called to the Bar. She practices in the areas of family
law, wills and estates, and general litigation.
